Today I have another set of videos I meant to post for awhile now, but somehow never got around to it. Until now. This first one especially. The song and video are both incredibly beautiful. You be the judge, but I have no doubt you will agree. The Reborn Identity reminds me allot of Phil Retrospector, his music tends to be a little more subdued, and at times a little melancholy. I doubt he gets allot of plays at the disco ;-) Great tunes to relax (or sleep) too though. Original and unique, definitely.

Clean Pöpcørn Rhapsody

This is a video I have been enjoying immensely for awhile now. It's not quite a mashup in the usual sense (at least in the way I usually define them around here). It is an unmodified song, set to a fan made video. It is the muppets (un-licenced and unofficial I'm sure) performing "Dance Yrself Clean" by LCD Soundsystem". A band I had never heard of until I discovered them Mashed with The Beatles. Now I love 'em! I can easily think of worse things to do than to Dance myself clean!! Or, as Kermit would say (as someone commented) - it's not easy being green (or dancing yourself clean).

And for added value I have also included one of the all-time classics. The Muppets performing Bohemian Rhapsody. *edit* due to popular demand I have also added one of the Swedish Chef's greatest all-time skits - Popcorn Shrimp

R.O.C.K. n' Rolling In My Head

I know it's been a tad long now (5 months long if I'm not mistaken) since I last updated the Top10, and It will probably be another month before I am able to fix that (cocaine is a hell of a drug!). When I do, these first two songs will probably be in. They've both been getting a lot of time in my personal playlist for awhile now. I'm really grooving on the mashups MashMike has been putting out lately. He really knows how to rock! His dance tunes are just as sweet.

There have been many great mashups using Adele's Rolling In The Deep over the past few months, I think I may have even posted a few of them here, but this may be my fave, in a group which already has some great mashes. I am beginning to believe that this song just may inspire the best work from from the mashup scene. The 2nd song is just as good, and is currently one of my favorite get down and boogey rock n' roll mashes currently out there. You can listen for yourself and see if you don't agree with me ;-)

I thought that I would do a Year In Review here at the Mash Pit. I've been at it for  almost half a year now, so this will be good practice for next year! Saturdays are meant for rockin' and it's been a few days. This mash is made out of at least six songs, but is really well done. The end result is a slightly more danceable "we will rock you". A nice sunny saturday song.
