Kiss The Missing Hotseat

One last post before I get back to the list. This is another remix producer whom I only recently discovered, but have been listening to allot. I seem to have a bit of a preference lately for music with a slightly older feel to it, and most of this music continues that trend. He tends to make his remixes a little longer than average, so make yourself comfortable (and turn it WAY UP!) while you enjoy the sweet sounds of The Starkiller.

What A Strange Red Devil Stomp

For some reason I'm feeling a little bit country today.... I have a small collection of some killer tunes that all have a bit of a country edge to them. They all totally rock (what do you expect with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains and Tool?), so buckle on your spurs and giddy up!!

For me, it has never been a challenge to answer the question: "Who is the world's greatest band?." I am not one hundred percent positive, but I think this just may be the first decent Tool mashup. Even better though is that this is much more than just decent! Until now we've had to settle for Puscifer or LustMord remixes for something approximating a Mashup fix with a MJK flavor to it (not that "settling" for either is actually a bad thing). Not anymore!

Ramble Boots

Today's post is a real Ramblin' Classic Rock post. I have a perfect trifecta of remixes and mashups which all feature the Zeppelin tune "Ramble On" as done by three of my favorite producers. The Lenlow mash was featured here awhile ago when Bobby G made the video for my one year anniversary here in the Pit. The Virgin Mix is quite new, and I really don't have music from MichMash posted here nearly often enough. He just may be the very best when it comes to Classic Rock mixes. Rest assured I will be sharing more of his music here real soon.

Fuck Olsons Old Cave Suite

Over the past few weeks I have been really grooving on the music being put out by Sound Remedy. Especially the five tracks I am sharing today. I hope you enjoy these tunes as much as I do. If you are pressed for time (at work perhaps?) and are just unable to get to all five right now, I would most strongly recommend the first and last songs (Tupac and Boards). For myself, this is the best Tupac tune I think I've ever heard (I will confess that I'm not really a big fan). I am not all that familiar with Boards of Canada, but I like this song for sure!

I Know Somebody Who Slept With Blue Monday

It has been a truly intense month. I didn't mean to neglect the Pit for so long, but I was quite occupied. A man died at my feet (on the sidewalk!) I wrapped things up for the year at school (except now I have enrolled for the summer) and I snagged myself a pretty sweet new phone. The death really threw me off for a bit there, so the School-work helped provide me with some purpose. Transferring all my stuff (300 or so apps and a thousand or so songs) to my new phone has been a monumental task and I am still working at it.

Lots of homework, lot's of drama. Too much death. I just was not able to blog. At times like that I find myself very grateful to have some good music to get me through it all. I will get back to my list real soon. But in the mean time (for the sake of a quick and easy post or three), here is another great double pack from Voicedude. I had a sneak peak at these a little before they were released (like a month ago, I know!). It was worth the wait. There have been tonnes of new Gotye mashups and remixes lately, and these are two of the very best. And the videos are as amazing as the tunes.
