Jolene's Mother Can't Talk Until You Sleep

Coming in at number 7 on my new top ten list is "Dogmother" from Divide and Kreate. This is likely the main reason why "Cruelly Good Summer Feeling" was number 8 instead of "Rebel Mother Down", which I like better. I just didn't think the Universe is ready for two Danzig tunes in a top 10 list...

I seem to have dug this hole for myself where I post an additional 4 songs for each entry on the list, so I guess I shall continue my self-imposed workload. Not that I mind, finding, listening and sharing is a real pleasure, although the actual amount of work involved in presenting it properly is a bit more than I had anticipated. Worth it in the end though. Enjoy these songs from Divide and Kreate, knowing that he put a lot more work into making them than I did in sharing them!

Cupid Stunts

Tuesday was the anniversary of Al Capone's most notorious stunt ever. So let's all celebrate with a Valentine's Day Mashacre. I guess I will follow tradition and stick to some fairly typical Cupid stunts, I mean "romantic" mashups.

Together On The Floor At Night

I've been slacking just a tad here at the Pit. Life happens some times, and I'm grateful it does! In the mean time the mashups keep piling up. DJ Earworm finally released a new video a few weeks ago, and here it is, with a couple of his classics.

It has long been my opinion that Earworm is the King of Mashups. I'm not saying he's necessarily my favorite (although he is one of them), but that he is the most popular and most successful. For example, here's what he wrote on his latest (Mega) Mashup:
"I made this music video mashup to be shown as part of a concert at Wembley Stadium in London for Capital FM's Summertime Ball, where all fifteen of these artists performed." I know of no other mashup DJ's anywhere near this level. Although it would be nice to see more of them achieving something close to this.

Don't Stop Vertigo

I really like this one. It looks like eniugh time has finally elapsed for Journey to be considered cool again. U2 though is becoming the new Journey. After a week and a half without a day off I think I am feeling some Vertigo myself.
