Jolene's Mother Can't Talk Until You Sleep

Coming in at number 7 on my new top ten list is "Dogmother" from Divide and Kreate. This is likely the main reason why "Cruelly Good Summer Feeling" was number 8 instead of "Rebel Mother Down", which I like better. I just didn't think the Universe is ready for two Danzig tunes in a top 10 list...

I seem to have dug this hole for myself where I post an additional 4 songs for each entry on the list, so I guess I shall continue my self-imposed workload. Not that I mind, finding, listening and sharing is a real pleasure, although the actual amount of work involved in presenting it properly is a bit more than I had anticipated. Worth it in the end though. Enjoy these songs from Divide and Kreate, knowing that he put a lot more work into making them than I did in sharing them!

But first, here is Kiss's most disco-ish song, made even more disco-ee ;-)

I Own Nothing But Smoke In Heaven

Coming in at number nine, for no real easily explained reason, is Fissunix and his awesome bootleg of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" mashed with the Gramatik instrumental remix "Stairway to Hip Hop Heaven". Amazing. The video is equally impressive. Fissunix is one of my favorites, and choosing 5 songs was brutally hard. Luckily I have a few ideas I'm working on for the near future, so I already have a number of his tunes earmarked for later... All the songs can be played from the playlist at the bottom, if you prefer to skip the videos.

Fissunix MashList

Your Crazy Moonlight Runaway Just Shouts

I really have no clue how it happened, but I haven't posted a whole lot of tunes from Fissunix this year, at least not here. Tonight I attempt to make up for this with six great mashups from the French Mashup Artist :-) Starting with a couple of his most recent productions including his 100th which he released only a day or two ago. Followed by his beautiful Beethoven mix. I decided to wash it all down with some classic hair metal tonight, one mash with Bon Jovi and a pair with KISS. I don't know if you are going to want to bang your head much, but letting your hair down might not hurt. Listen to why he is one of my favorites. I know there are only a couple of actual videos in the this collection, but it's the music that matters!
