Jolene's Mother Can't Talk Until You Sleep

Coming in at number 7 on my new top ten list is "Dogmother" from Divide and Kreate. This is likely the main reason why "Cruelly Good Summer Feeling" was number 8 instead of "Rebel Mother Down", which I like better. I just didn't think the Universe is ready for two Danzig tunes in a top 10 list...

I seem to have dug this hole for myself where I post an additional 4 songs for each entry on the list, so I guess I shall continue my self-imposed workload. Not that I mind, finding, listening and sharing is a real pleasure, although the actual amount of work involved in presenting it properly is a bit more than I had anticipated. Worth it in the end though. Enjoy these songs from Divide and Kreate, knowing that he put a lot more work into making them than I did in sharing them!

But first, here is Kiss's most disco-ish song, made even more disco-ee ;-)

Warwick's Blue Ghetto

Anybody in the mood for melancholy? Today I have more melancholy mashups from the melancholic himself, Phil RetroSpector. His latest mashes Elvis with Duffy. This is followed by Blue Mundane, which, I think, shows more than any other song or video of his why he is called the "King of Melancholy". I've tossed in a couple animation mashes as well, just because there really is no such thing as too much melancholy! At least not the way Phil does it. They are both awesome. Here's his description of forever Yellow: "Celebrating 20 years of the Simpsons, and possibly the greatest love story of them all... Warning: The content of this video is Homer-erotik! Doh!" Phil, you are awesome!

Jude's Boys Are On The Line To Heaven

The Melancholic has done it again!! Phil RetroSpector (@philretrospecto) has created another masterpiece - this time mashing The Pixies with Thin Lizzy. Pure Genius. His Beatles mash ain't too shabby either!

Djs Against Nameless Hot Stuff

More Martian music!! I guess their upcoming show in Vancouver has me a little stoked. The fact that they are both prolific and awesome may have something to do with it as well. They released two more great mashups this week - one with Britney vs Coldplay and another featuring Usher vs Donna Summer - and here they are, plus a classic with U2 vs Flo Rida.

A Thousand XOXODUS Secrets (Virginity Rollplay)

It's been too long since I've had anything here by Phil Retro Spector. Way too long. Today I aim to fix that. Phil's mashups are rather unique, he definitely has a unique style and sound - as well as look! His videos are as interesting as the audio work he does. Unlike most mashes, I don't really think his are quite meant for dancing. For myself I find that I feel more like relaxing (or sleeping) than bouncing around, but this can be a good thing. The best way to know for sure is to find out for yourself. So here you go.

Imagine One Day I Came To Say Hello (Relationships)

After spending a week going over old posts (and seemingly putting more work into it than the first time) I've been kind of Jonesin' to get into some more mashes, so to make up for some lost time it's a two-for-one day in the Mash Pit!!

Up next is a trifecta of great Mashups from BenStiller, better known as Mashup-Germany. First are a pair of his best from last year followed up with his newest - it was just released today!
