For some reason I'm feeling a little bit country today.... I have a small collection of some killer tunes that all have a bit of a country edge to them. They all totally rock (what do you expect with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains and Tool?), so buckle on your spurs and giddy up!!

For me, it has never been a challenge to answer the question: "Who is the world's greatest band?." I am not one hundred percent positive, but I think this just may be the first decent Tool mashup. Even better though is that this is much more than just decent! Until now we've had to settle for Puscifer or LustMord remixes for something approximating a Mashup fix with a MJK flavor to it (not that "settling" for either is actually a bad thing). Not anymore!

Freaky Southern Torture On Saturday Night

I very excited about today's mashups. I've been hoping for awhile now that somebody would make a video for two of my favorite (video-less) mashups - "Saturday White" and "Psycho Dreams" from The Kleptones. I have also long been a fan of AMV's. In fact that was how I was first introduced to mashups (although I didn't know it at the time, I thought the songs were legit). I recently noticed that one of the newest members of the Vimeo Mashup Group had been posting a helluva lot of mashups in a pretty short time. I was also bumping into him on Facebook quite a bit. So I asked James if he could perhaps help me out here. He said he'd look into it and get back to me. And today (just a couple days later) here we are...

I am sorry for not being so regular lately. I have a rather full plate and the time (and access) just isn't there. I don't see this changing any time soon either, unfortunately. Not until the May long weekend at the soonest. The summer will be all good though!. In the mean time here is something a little different (for the Mash Pit at least). I've an amazing full length album from The Kleptones (@kleptones). They have a number of albums available for download (or listening), and so far I think this may be my favorite.
